In Islam (which I know best), both are on the same level of responsibility in the world. Men can't force women to pray or wear veil like some believe ! Men can't beat woman (like westerners love do a lot, btw), they can only "brusk" them a little in extreme situations (when the life of someone's wife is at stake or something that dangerous). Get your facts right.
