I turned 86 today.
 In 1925, I was a baby.
I was born the same day as Yuli Daniel.
It doesn't feel like a long time to me...
In 1927, Metropolis premiered in Germany while I was a toddler.

Would Read Again 7/10. It's nice hearing from someone who's old enough to have seen Jack Dempsey fight, in person.

This was cool to read. After a life like that, he deserve the best he can get, and I'm glad he and his family got it. A lot of us will probably never be as lucky enough now though...

I'm 67 and I can relate. Think of the 100's of millions who lived during this same time. I really like the line, "I've seen it all happen over and over again."

At first I thought "Wow, this is too long." Then I read the whole thing and was actually sad that it ended so soon. That is an amazing life to have lived, and I hope that one day someone can say the same of my experiences.

Do you realise it's the message and moral of the story not that it actually happened. You must be 12.

Very inspiring. It's interesting how something as small as a comic could have such a profound effect. Having read this may have changed my life. I'm not sure, but we'll see :)
